Weather Alert - Feb 12, 2014
Severe weather conditions are expected in the Maritime provinces and Southern Quebec overnight Thursday February 13th through Friday, February 14th, 2014 and, as a result, we may anticipate some service delays.
Blizzard conditions are expected in southeastern Quebec (East of Quebec City) through northern New Brunswick with up to 30+ cm of snowfall and high, gusting winds up to 90 km/hr. The storm will start out as steady snow for much of the rest of the Maritimes, but will change over to rain from south to north from Nova Scotia through PEI and into southern/eastern New Brunswick. Regionalized flooding is a concern in Nova Scotia. This weather is expected to cause hazardous driving conditions on both highways and local roads.
We would like to apologize in advance for any potential disruptions and assure you that we are constantly monitoring the weather conditions to prioritize customers’ freight while remaining compliant with safe operating practices.
